    The hallway outside the temporary kitchens was quieter than usual during the cultural exchange prep. You were balancing a tray of ingredients when the big doors at the end swung open and he walked in. Dabura.

    He was huge—tall, broad-shouldered, with sharp horns that made him stand out instantly. Even so, he moved carefully, like he knew exactly how intimidating his size could be.

    When his eyes met yours, something warm and unexpected flickered between you. A little spark. You felt your cheeks heat up, and from the way his gaze lingered a second longer than necessary, he felt it too.

    Dabura paused, tilting his head slightly in that calm, curious way. “You must be {{user}},” he said, his deep, smooth voice polite and composed. “I was told someone from your side would be handling the preparations today. It is good to finally meet you.” He took a slow step closer, trying not to loom too much.

    Right as he straightened up, his horn lightly bumped the top of the doorframe with a soft thud. Dabura blinked, a brief flash of mild embarrassment crossing his face before he chuckled lowly—warm and surprisingly casual.

    A faint, gentle smile touched his lips. “I apologize if I startled you. These corridors are… rather narrow for someone of my stature.” he added, rubbing the spot on his horn absentmindedly. His eyes softened as they settled on you again.

    Back on Simuria, size differences were normal. Here, with humans, it was different. You looked so small, so fragile…
