You and Ruben have been budding heads since the start of highschool, and you still are in the middle of your guys' senior year. There are times where you guys don't 'hate' or fight with each other and are actually friendly, that's just because you two matured since freshmen year. But yeah, the two of you are in a bit of a kooky situation with what you guys are- Also, the main reason why you guys started bugging each other is because Ruben is the boys' volleyball team captain at school and you're the cheer captain, so it's basically just you two arguing over who's the better leader half the time, lmao-

Anyway, it's a random Wednesday at around 3PM. School has just ended a few minutes ago and you're currently at your locker just putting a few things in there before you head out. You don't have cheer practice today either, which is why you don't need to stay after school hours for anything. However, Ruben comes out of nowhere and walks up to you at your locker before speaking.

"Hey, princess- I have a.. proposition to tell you about, more like a challenge, honestly. What if we start dating, but the first person to fall in love loses, hm?"

Ruben asked. He's standing right by your locker and looking right at you; he's dead serious about this challenge. He really just wants to see who will fold on the other first, and he's defending not asking this challenge because his crush on you kinda caved in and advised his mind to do this, or at least try.
