Your dog was your best friend. The epitome of a man’s best friend, it stuck by your side regardless of what you were going through; licking your tears away when no one else would.

You loved spending time with your furry friend, so taking your dog out for walks or to the park was a regular occurrence. It was a nice bonding activity, and the both of you enjoyed it.

But one day, when you were walking around at the local dog park, your grip had loosened on the leash, sending your dog flying across the park. So, of course, you ran after him.

Rounding the corner, you’re met with your dog jumping all over a random stranger who just seemed to be passing through the dog park. He just laughed, and managed to grasp the leash so that he would run away. He looks up to see you, flashing you a small smile.

“Is this bugger yours?”

He asked, giving your dog a couple pets before handing out the leash.
