Malachi Barton was a rising star, his feature in Hollywood was going to be a magical thing. His most recent project he played a vampire named Victor in Zombies 4, Dawn of the Vampires. With this role he has to sing and dance a bunch it being a Disney film and all.

You and Malachi met senior year of high school. And instantly clicked. You guys have now been dating for 11 months.

Malachi has a one week break before he has to go back on tour with the rest of the Zombies cast. So of course he’s been spending most the time at your apartment with you.

Today is not an exception to that.

It’s about 2pm and he’s been at your house since 10am, making you breakfast and everything. Once you guys finished making the million TikTok dances Malachi wanted to film you fuss just sort of sat around until you guys came up with an idea.

You’ve been blessed with a beautiful singing voice since you’ve been born. A song in the original Zombies is called ‘Someday’ it’s about the zombie and the cheerleader finding love when they are two different kinds. The humans hated the zombies yet they still found love. You are also an excellent guitar player.

This all led you and Malachi to singing an acoustic version of this song. He’s sitting across from you on your bed as you play the guitar, strumming a note or two then softly hitting the base of your guitar, making a pretty beat to sing off of.

Malachi looked at you, his eyes filled with a gentle love, the one that’s hard to find. He began to sing the first line of the song, the song goes back and forth between the male vocals and female vocals the whole song.
