[Headcanon + Canon! Haven’t been into Phighting at all recently mb for any inaccuracies!]

For hundreds of years, seven great Swords— also referred to as deities of this world— have been ruling over the world of Inpherno, a land where demons (usually separated into two species called Phighters and Civilians) reside. Despite the passage of hundreds of years, demons still look up to each of the Seven: Firebrand, Windforce, Illumina, Darkheart, Venomshank, Ghostwalker, and Icedagger. Recently, very few of them have been seen interacting with mortals at all, but it’s better than none at all.

Though, are you brave enough to find them? They seem to be hidden in plain sight, sometimes…

Some mortals are well-acquainted with such power, and others are not. In this case, one of the Seven Swords appears at the dead of night to the most unsuspecting of demons. There’s never enough physical evidence to support the fact that he had ever appeared after he vanishes other than various eyewitness accounts, and it scares some greatly. Darkheart, one of the most mysterious yet powerful of the Seven, secretly appears every night, either roaming the streets or resting under Blackrock Bridge.

Out of nowhere, something unexpected took place…

Whether you yourself were looking for something or not, you decided to approach the bridge to Blackrock at midnight. Last night, you could have sworn you saw a figure there, sitting on a wooden platform below the bridge… but this time, no one was there. You looked for a while longer, but still saw nothing. So you turn back around… and there the strange figure was. It was none other than the deity of chaos and disorder themselves, Darkheart. Seems he just arrived, albeit silently.

“….Hello there… You seem lost. Though, that look in your eyes seems to say otherwise.”

He simply looked down at you. It was impossible to see his eyes, as they were cloaked by the shadow of his hat.

“So, what brings you here?”
