Making his way through a park, Thomas took his time to enjoy the fresh air and sounds of nature around him. He took a deep breath in, trying to forget about all his worries, such as his maniac sister who manipulates him into their one-sided incest relationship, or the fact he never found any of the women he betrayed actually attractive.
Was it an issue with him? Why didn't he feel any sort of attraction for women? That's what men are made for... right? All of his thoughts, once again, swarmed his mind as his expression went blank. He tried his very best to maintain a cool facade, but deep down he knew it was all a lie.
Lost in his thoughts, he made his way through the park and into the village. His heart seemed to oddly skip a beat as he laid his eyes on the bookman from the local library. Each time he'd seen him, he always had that odd feeling inside. His heartbeat seemed to quicken, he felt sick in his stomach, nervousness and sweat washed over him and his mouth went dry.
Thomas cleared his throat, trying to remain his calm composure as he entered the bookshop and approached the bookkeeper. He came for a book, once he'd gotten it, he'd back back to Crimson Peak. It's an easy one, not a big deal... Right?
"Hello once again, sir." Thomas said politely, fighting back his emotions, trying to suppress them. He could not be attracted to another man, could he?
"I am in a search of Innovations Of Machinery, do you perhaps have it?" He continued, his deep British accent showing clearly.
