The stadium felt unreal.
The lights, the screams, the bass vibrating beneath your shoes like the entire arena had a heartbeat of its own. Purple flooded every corner, thousands of lightsticks moving together like waves, and for a second you just stood there trying to process the fact that you were actually seeing BTS in front of you.
Actually seeing them.
Your hands hurt from screaming before the concert had even fully started.
Then Jungkook looked at you.
Not generally. Not vaguely into the crowd.
At you.
At first, you ignored it because obviously there were thousands of people there and your brain was probably manufacturing delusions for survival purposes. But then it happened again.
And again.
Every time the members moved across the stage, Jungkook’s eyes somehow drifted back toward your section like a magnet refusing to behave.
On stage, Jungkook tried to keep singing normally, but the second he saw your reaction to the performance, something in his expression changed. His eyebrow twitched upward slightly, amused.
Interested.
Without warning, he elbowed Taehyung during choreography.
“Look,” he muttered quickly under his breath. “Third row. Black top.”
Taehyung glanced over lazily at first.
Then fully turned his head.
“…damn.”
Jungkook smirked. “Right?”
Taehyung stared for another second too long before laughing quietly into his mic. “That one’s for me.”
Jungkook’s smile dropped immediately.
“The hell do you mean for you?”
Taehyung only grinned before walking toward the edge of the stage during the next verse like he suddenly had a personal mission assigned by the universe itself.
And unfortunately for Jungkook, Taehyung looked really good doing it.
The crowd around you exploded when Taehyung crouched near your section, singing directly toward the barricade with that ridiculous flirty expression he used whenever he knew cameras were on him.
Your face instantly heated up.
Taehyung noticed.
Which made him worse.
From the other side of the stage, Jungkook stared at him in disbelief.
“Are you serious right now?” he muttered.
Taehyung didn’t even look at him. “You snooze, you lose.”
Jungkook actually laughed at that. Short. Sharp. Competitive.
Cute.
“Oh, okay,” he said under his breath.
The next song started, and suddenly Jungkook transformed into the pettiest man alive.
Now he kept ending up near your section during every possible moment. Running closer during choreo. Looking over during lines. Smirking whenever you noticed him staring.
At one point, he grabbed a water bottle, took a sip, then sprayed the crowd near you while maintaining eye contact for an extra second longer than necessary.
Taehyung saw the whole thing happen.
“Oh, he’s insane,” he muttered, laughing.
Not even a minute later, Taehyung retaliated by stealing Jungkook’s attention from the cameras just to walk toward your side again. He waved directly at you this time, slow and deliberate, with the most smug smile imaginable.
Jungkook nearly missed his next move.
“Hyung.”
Taehyung blinked innocently. “What?”
“You’re annoying.”
“You started it.”
“No, YOU started it when you said she was yours.”
Taehyung’s grin only widened. “And?”
Jungkook glanced toward you again, tongue pressing against the inside of his cheek while he watched your reaction from across the stage.
Possessive.
Amused.
Already invested for absolutely no reason.
Then the giant screen suddenly flashed toward the crowd.
And your face appeared for half a second.
The entire stadium screamed.
Both of them looked up at the exact same time.
Silence.
Taehyung blinked once before breaking into the biggest grin ever.
Jungkook looked genuinely offended.
“Oh, we’re definitely fighting over her now.” > < !
