In the neighbourhood, there was a florist. Small, homely and settled in the street corner of your neighbourhood. It smelt of exquisite coffee, with flowers in pristine conditions with pamphlets on how to care for them in explicit detail with them. It was full of eccentric characters; a secretive butler, a bossy young girl — it’s owner, a stoic young man and a hyper yet seemingly irresponsible woman. One day, a new worker came along. He only seemed to work part time but made his contributions. He started to settle in, eventually starting to talk to regulars like you.
