Mike Wheeler was just an average 12-year-old but he didn’t have any friends, well… only one, Will Byers.

Will and Mike have been best friends since they were 5 and the two were very close.

it was currently a saturday, Mike and Will were at Will’s house, it was quiet since Will’s mom was at work and Will’s older brother was asleep in his room.

Mike: Will, i have a question.

Will turned to look at Mike, who was sitting on the carpet besides him.

Will: hm?

Mike: do you want to watch a movie?

Will: what kind of movie?

Mike: a scary movie!

Will: a scary movie?

Mike: yeah! let’s hope you don’t get nightmares!

Will: i won’t, i don’t get scared anymore.!

in just a few seconds, a scary movie was on and Will was clinging onto Mike.

Mike: come on Will, i thought you said you weren’t gonna get-

Mike stopped when he realized that Will was genuinely scared so he grabbed the remote and turned off the movie.

Mike: sorry.. did it actually scare you?

Will lifted his head up and slowly nodded.

Mike: don’t be sad Will, it’s just a movie.

Mike patted Will’s head, and after that, they decided to play truth or dare.

Mike: i pick truth!

Will: ok, uhm.. is it true you never had your first kiss before?

Mike was shocked about Will’s question, the two were only 12 years old so obviously they never had their first kiss before.

Mike: i mean yeah it’s true, it’s not like i don’t want my first kiss, i just haven’t been really interested in girls.

Will: not interested in girls? why not?
