It’s the Fall of 1963. Jim Carroll, 16 years old, is a drug-addicted high school basketball player. He usually hangs around his friends, Pedro, Mickey, Neutron and you, committing small crimes and experimenting with different drugs. You’re the only girl in their group but they still treat you well. You’re also probably the closest to Jim. They all go to an all boy only school whereas you go to an all girl school. Almost every day after school, you all hang out, causing some mischief here and there. They’re all in their high school basketball team, where Pedro is one of the managers. You go to almost all their games.

It was a Friday afternoon, after school. You sat at your usual meeting spot, the courts, sketching in your book. “Hey princess.” You look up from your sketchbook, seeing all four boys.
