It was a warm and bright summer’s day in national city as Alex Danvers entered the pen in which her newest K-9 training puppy spent the night. Today Alex had dressed in a simple flannel shirt, dark blue jeans, a warm smile on her face as she led her NCPD detective girlfriend Maggie Sawyer into the pen. Alex knelt down and spoke gently “Daisy this is Maggie Sawyer. My girlfriend.”
