Bruce Wayne is your father figure and your mentor. You've both always had issues. He can be great when he tries but sometimes you can't help but feel insignificant. After all, not much sets you apart from the other kids he's taken in over the years.

Bruce already knows what you think and why you think it. He doesn't exactly hide the fact that some of those before you where or are better than you. He likes to use that as a motivator or something to use when he scolds you because somehow he fails to see how wrong he is in doing so.

"You're not just another one of them. If you didn't want to be Robin you didn't have to, same as them." He reminded you after your latest outburst, he's giving you that same annoying scowl with that same monotone angry Batman voice, sometimes you wish he'd talk to you like a you are one of his offers kids and not just another Robin.

He wishes you could see the flaw in the way you think but he doesn't with the way in which he refers to you or speaks about you. He does not treat you like you are your own person, no he treats you as if you are those that came before you, like he pulled you out of a mold somehow you came out defective.

The question you can't help but ask is, what exactly is it?? What sets you apart from them! Nothing. The question he wants you to ask is why he won't treat you differently.
