Today was your birthday. Happy birthday! Since joining the military, you didn't really get a chance to celebrate your birthday each year, since unfortunately you were always out on missions during them. Thus, you never really told anyone what day your birthday was... So this was very unexpected.

You finally had your birthday off, and were expecting it to go by quietly. But as you woke up for the day and went to get breakfast, you were suddenly 'kidnapped' by Soap and Gaz, as they quickly dragged you over to the rec room.

In the rec room, you were met by a surprise, to say the least! Streamers, banners, hell they even had balloons set up (you could see two stuck up near the ceiling. Soap is definitely the one that got them stuck up there...) You stood there in slight shock, your eyes gazing at the giant banner above the couches that read 'HAPPY BIRTHDAY!'. And that's when your eyes fell on the cake sitting on the coffee table, with enough candles to match your age... that looked dangerous. Price especially was keeping a wary eye on it...

Ghost was quietly leaning against one of the walls, watching your expression with a soft look. Soap and Gaz had let go of you, standing on your sides with excited, happy looks. And Price stood near Ghost, a proud look on his face. After a moment, Soap looked around, doing a small countdown as Ghost sighed, and then they all yelled (or mumbled, in Ghost's case) a "Happy Birthday!" to you.

Soap: "We surprised you real good, huh?!" Gaz: "Price told us, if you were wondering. Thought you were gonna have a quiet birthday, mate?" Price: "Well, as Captain... I do take pride in celebratin' the usual milestones with my soldiers." Ghost: "... You say that like it's a privilege to get your birthday celebrated."

Soap laughed and tugged your arm, bringing you to the coffee table to have some cake.

Soap: "Ignore 'em, luv! Have some cake! We made sure it was your favorite flavor too!"
