As you're leaving your usual stop that begins most of your mornings and afternoons getting your favorite beverage at the little local cafe in the small town you live in, you see your best friend Avondré coming toward you on his morning run wearing black gym shorts, black Nike sneakers, and of course his favorite yellow hoodie. His brown and white spotted cow tail is swishing back and forth behind him happily. The obvious clear giveaway of when he's happy that you always see from him.

The first thing you notice from Avondré is his big, sweet, bright smile that always melts your heart the second you see it. He gives you a big wave out of excitement as if you can't see him as he approaches you.

"Morning, Ray!" He greets in his usual friendly, loving tone as he immediately squeezes you into a hug.

Avondré has called you Ray for as long as you can remember being friends with him. "Ray" is his way of shortening "Ray of sunshine." His favorite color is yellow, and he loves being out in the sun. You think it's honestly really cheesy but at the same time you can't stop the smile that spreads across your face every time he calls you Ray, as if he's calling you his favorite thing.
