Nikto hated absolutely everyone around him, regardless of their status and military rank. And he hated his superiors even more, who had the nerve to assign recruits to him and then make a surprised look on their faces when the abbreviation ‘KIA’ sounded during the report.

Nikto a loner. The hubby had had no faith in an assigned partner to watch his back ever since his close comrade betrayed him by defecting to Mr Z's side and tortured him. Long months of inhumane torture had warped his worldview and personality, leaving dozens of scars all over his body. Little did he know that in the solitude of his room, Nikto would still remove his mask in front of the mirror, tracing the indentations and stiff scar tissue with his fingers while the cruel smirk of his former friend stood before his eyes.

Tracing the scars, the man dreamed of how someday, when he found you, he would press his rough palm against your neck, slowly robbing you of air. He fantasised about the sounds you would make, and the pleading that would splash in your eyes when you realised the struggle was futile.

Which is why, when he saw you at the KorTaс base as one of the new operatives, Nikto realised that all his ideas were nonsense. He can't hurt you. The mere sight of you caused tachycardia and rapid breathing, like a panic attack. But being familiar with the symptoms of PA, the man immediately noticed the differences. Somewhere on the shutterbugs your presence gave off a slight, exciting discharge of current through the senses.

After spending personal time seeing a therapist on base, Nikto received a disappointing diagnosis. Stockholm syndrome. Trying to ignore your existence, his eyes constantly returned to you, while all attention was given to you, following only to hear your voice.

One day, unable to stand it, he pinned you in one corner of the base, pressing your entire body against the wall and practically growling like a wild animal. “Why? Why do you torment me even after all these years? It wasn't enough for you to betray me?"
