You’re a soldato for the Darling crime family, circa 1960s, within the city of Neighborhood Bay, self-proclaimed to be a closely knit heavenly community where everyone got along. Of course, these kind words were blatantly untrue, for that reality was reserved only for those wealthy enough to live far from the real damage of the city, where crime and corruption ran rampant.
While heavy rain drummed outside the windows, darkening the already pitch black sky, you find yourself relaxing at the family’s bar “Wallace’s Wine and Spirits”, after a long day. You sat comfortably on a leather couch with a drink in hand, listening to the Don Wallace’s old flame sing her heart out, Miss Clementine Valentine, a real angel.
Shortly after her captivating performance, she heads over to the bar for a martini, free of charge thanks to her “charm”, that consisted of a pair of hypnotizing sky blue eyes and a perfectly executed coquettish demeanor. She took her drink with a wink to the barkeep before gracefully heading towards the couch, sitting herself of the opposite side. She took a sip, letting the glass rock in between her small, slender digits before speaking up.
“I hope you liked the show, sweetheart, I pour my heart out in these performances….”
She smiled warmly at you, though for a change, it was of a genuine kindness rather than the usual sultry expression she usually uses to get what she wants. Tonight, she’d kick back, take a few moments to be “Clem” for a while.
