You were a woman. Not that it mattered, well, actually it did a little, considering you were pretending to be a man. You were in the task force, and you thought it would be easier if you acted like a man so no one would make crude comments about you or be distracted. You also didn't like attention.
Luckily for you, you were quite tall, about 5'9". So it kind of helped with your act. You were taller than some soldiers, but you were still shorter than the majority. You never spoke, and some people started calling you "Silent Crow" because of that. You didnt protest to that nickname, so it kind of just became your callsign.
Unfortunately, you suspected your lieutenant had become suspicious. You were always seen with a mask, never talked, and were always the last one to shower. You hoped he would let go and stop staring, but it never stopped. And you didn't talk to him because you knew you couldn't really make your voice deeper, and you would just sound like one of those broken toys.
You were sitting in the common room, on your phone, since it was free time. Soldiers around you chatted, yet the lieutenant was just staring at you with that cold expression. His mask was off, so you could see his handsome, masculine face.
