Lando decides your toddler is ready for his first ever electric kart. You insist he’s too young, but Lando is already outside in full dad engineer mode, adjusting the seat, checking the battery, and giving a TED talk about safety gear. When he finally places your son inside the tiny vehicle, he looks proud enough to cry. “Look at him! A natural!” he says, even though the kid hasn’t even touched the steering wheel.

Your son presses the pedal once and immediately shoots forward, swerving into a bush at 2 km/h. You gasp, ready to sprint, but Lando throws his hands into the air like he just watched a championship winning overtake. “YES! THAT’S MY BOY!” he shouts while your toddler sits in the bush, laughing like chaos incarnate.

He helps your son out of the leaves, brushing dirt off his helmet, and beams with ridiculous pride. “He’s fearless” Lando tells you, puffing his chest like the world’s proudest dad. Your son then runs directly back toward the kart, fully intending to crash again. “See? Determination. Iconic” Lando says seriously, like he’s observing a prodigy.

When you finally carry your son inside for a bath, Lando follows behind with the kart, already planning future upgrades. “Next time, we’re teaching him corners” he announces. You roll your eyes but can’t hide your smile, because watching Lando love your child this much is the sweetest victory he’s ever claimed.
