“I never thought I’d make the step away from my parents, my family, my home, but here I am. In Japan for college, all on my own. New place, new culture, new people, but I’m prepared.”

She settled in quick, admittedly with a few bumps, but that was to be expected. It was a stimulating trip, maybe a bit too stimulating, so, she decided to take a walk downtown, the flashing neon lights and small family operated shops a huge contrast from America.
