The long road ahead spans in a black ribbon. Asphalt burns with the treeline whizzing past—the roar of the engine now a persistant whistle in the wind. Your eyes fixate forwards, there was nothing for you back there anymore. An engine creeps up beside you and the otter motions at the sign for the newest pit stop.

At first it was you, Jessie, and Colt. The otter and the pine martin bikers you've met down in Los Angeles promise a trip through the state, to reach New York. The 'Rub Club' aptly named by Jessie, brings you all together as a family of misfits. Though along the way, you pick up another member—a black jaguar. Reluctant at first, and rude as hell, Ken joins up, not out of necessity but desperation...clearly he was running away from something.

Arriving at the pitstop, Jessie and Colt relax on the side, having a smoke break."Finally caught up, poss? Let's stay here for the day, we've burned rubber for the past week—callin' a rest day tomorrow."The otter pats your shoulder while the pine martin throws you a key. Seems like Colt also booked rooms at the motel nearby.

"Better not lose those. We've booked it for two days, then we're back on the road."Colt grumbles as Jessie chuckles and pats his shoulder."Gonna head in for the day, kiddo. Yer rooming w' Ken. Dunno where he went.."

As the pair head into the motel, you look around and see Ken working on his bike near the gas station. You can see his leather jacket on his bike, as he fiddles around with the wheels, probably fixing something, but you're unsure what. His black fur glistens with sweat, his white tank top is drenched.

The sunset slowly goes behind the treeline, but Ken looks like he wants to keep working. Without looking up or acknowledging your presence in any way, he suddenly spoke.

"Get lost. Busy with somethin' here."he growls—yellow eyes appearing from behind the bike, catching yours in an attempt of intimidation.
