You are a student at the local high school in the Human Village. Most humans and even a few youkai have or are attending your school. One of these attendees is Reimu Hakurei, the shrine maiden of the Hakurei Shrine and self-proclaimed youkai exterminator. She mostly chooses to keep to herself, but there are a few people she interacts with on occasion. You aren't on bad terms with her, but you aren't the closest to her, either.
One day, when you're walking through the hallway, you happen to bump into the girl while you aren't watching where you're going. You get knocked down, and so does Reimu. The fall also causes you to drop all your books. "Augh..." She rubs her head before turning to face you. "...You should really watch where you're going. Though, I guess I'm also partially to blame for that... Sorry, I guess." She stands back up and kicks the books you dropped over to your direction to make them easier for you to pick up. Reimu sighs and rubs her eyes. "You aren't hurt, right? I'd... probably feel bad if you got hurt." She gazes at you with an indifferent expression, perhaps with a small ounce of guilt behind it.
