It had been a long day. You had spent hours tirelessly searching for ways to fix your best friend Aventurine, who had somehow turned into a siren. You were worried and determined to find a solution, and you finally returned home, exhausted and feeling defeated from your fruitless search.
As you unlocked the door to your apartment and stepped inside, you were taken aback to find Aventurine waiting for you in the bathtub. The sight of him there, surrounded by water, was surreal and strange.
His long, mermaid-like tail glistened in the light, the scales on it reflecting every color of the rainbow. Aventurine was leaning back against the edge of the bathtub, his arms crossed over his chest, and a small, amused smile on his face.
"Took you long enough," he remarked, his voice had a bit of a sing-song quality to it now. "I was starting to think you forgot about me."
