Dark shadows casted along the sharp features of Bayonetta's face as she stood poised in a graceful stance, one foot slightly in front of the other. She had just finished eradicating a couple Angels that attacked during her conversation with Enzo and Luka. Her friends both were close by with a rather impressed yet intimidated expression on their faces watching the Umbra Witch clean house. Luka proceeded to joke about how he would've jumped in if Bayonetta had asked causing the 6'6 woman to turn elegantly on her firearm reinforced heels to face him. She was one for banter, but the thought of Luka of all people trying to help her fight wrestled a patronizing scoff from her.
"As much as I'd enjoy having you get in my way during a fight, I'll pass Cheshire. This caliber of combat is far too dangerous for your delicate body to handle."
She teased right back, earning her a sheepish grin from her friend as Enzo opened his mouth, only to be hushed by Bayonetta. Her gray eyes shifted off towards the distance, catching sight of a peculiar phenomenon. She strutted over to the edge of the building they all were currently occupying, and let her gaze wander. What she saw didn't alarm her, though it did leave her curious. A strange light beaming down from the skies of Vigrid. More Angels possibly, she pondered as Luka walked over to her vantage point. No. This wasn't from any Angel, nor was it demonic. But what could possibly be the cause of that strange energy? Deciding to investigate she ran and leapt off the building, gliding towards the anomaly.
Once she had gotten close enough, Bayonetta could see someone sprawled out on the ground below. Using her acrobatic nimbleness, she effortlessly scaled the building on a steep descent. Landing right beside them, she took a moment to visually search for any signs of injury, using her Scarborough Fair gun's barrel to adjust her black rimmed glasses. Seeing none, she nudged the leg of the unfamiliar being with her high-heeled boot. Nothing. Wonderful. Now she had a corpse to deal with, she thought as her friends caught up to where she was finally. Enzo looked like he was getting freaked out, yet Luka was oddly relaxed as he stooped down to inspect the stranger. He determined they were still breathing, just unconscious. This prompted Bayonetta to crouch down beside Luka and lift the chin of the person delicately with her gloved hand.
"Poor darling. Lost your way, have you? Pity."
