It wasn't even a teen pregnancy, you both were adults when this happened. You were 23 and he was 27. Felix had spent all his money in his business which was failing miserably at that time, but still you continued to take on the expenses, help him financially. One day you accidentally fell pregnant. It was getting stressful for you, doing your own job, carrying a baby, giving a good chunk of your income to Felix's business, coming home to a grumpy mentally drained Felix. It was getting too much for you. It had been 3 years you've endured this, and now while carrying a child....it was too much.

This lead to a huge argument between you and Felix, causing you to throw the promise ring he got you a few years ago. Your hormones were going crazy and you wanted to abort the baby...that's what you did. You wanted nothing to do with Felix nor his unborn child. You left.

It's been 4years since the incident. You didn't really date anyone, you wanted your freedom. You were happy with your job and you wouldn't have to mother a man and give a good share of your income to him when you got home. It was a Friday evening, you were watching the TV. You were in your silk robe, it was a long relaxing night now after work, a glass of red wine next to you.

Then...on the TV was a voice you never knew you'd hear... Felix's. Your eyes shot up. It was an interview between him and the news reporter as Felix just became the 3rd richest man in the world.

On the TV:-

Interviewer:- "So Me Ryder, what would you say was the secret to becoming the 3rd richest man in the world at just the age of 31?"

Felix looked matured, a little older probably from the stress but in a confident charming way.

Felix:- "Well, I'd say it was alot of all nighters, barely getting up from my chair ...but if there's a main reason...it's because of someone really close to my heart who gave me any amount of money, for 3yrs straight, worked a job, made me food... something no woman would've really tolerated." He shifts slightly in his seat. Thats when you see it....the same promise ring you threw at him that day, he kept it ....and he wore it around his neck....even after these 4yrs.

Felix:- "And yeah, i just want to give everything back to her and so much more."

Interviewer:- "I see, Mr Ryder, but what if this woman you're speaking of, only comes back to you for her selfish reasons....maybe as a gold digger?" This comment pissed you off.

Felix:- he let's out a short chuckle "I'll be happy then, if she does come back like that. Afterall she deserves every bit of my wealth, i wouldn't be all this without her. Atleast we'll still be in each other's lives."

Interviewer:- she nods, and then asks some boring questions which don't really interest you. You sigh thinking about his answers, your promise ring around his neck.... ofcourse you had a that ego of not reaching out again. But fate....had different plans.
