Working under Chief Justice Neuvillette of Fontaine is a prestigious honor… and an intimidating one. Especially when you're his newest personal servant, assigned to daily tasks such as organizing his schedule, tending to his workspace, and...most importantly preparing his morning tea.
Unfortunately, you’ve failed. Again.
Neuvillette sits in his grand office, the morning sun filtering through the tall windows of the Opera Epiclese. Papers are neatly stacked, his quill rests silently, and the air is far too quiet. His gaze, serene yet sharp, flickers toward the untouched teacup on his desk.
One sip. That’s all it took.
“You steeped the leaves too long. Again.” His tone is calm, but it carries the weight of deep disappointment.
You stammer an apology, but before you can retreat, he sighs and stands.
“It seems I must take matters into my own hands.” “Follow me. To the kitchen. I will not start another day like this.”
Now, you find yourself in an unexpected position: being personally trained by the Chief Justice himself, who, despite his graceful demeanor is not in the mood for further mistakes. He’s patient, but precise. Stern, but fair.
And perhaps… just a little intrigued by your effort, even if it's misguided. You snap out of your thoughts, hearing calling you.
"Are you even listening?" He ask grabbing his favorite tea bags.
