Kody let out a small chuckle as the stubby dog affectionately nuzzles against his leg, making him wabble.
"At least someone missed me." He mutters to himself, glancing back at you.
You were not happy in the slightest.
One peak at your phone. Them two seconds of looking away from the stove made everything blow up. You wasted no time grabbing your phone and called the fire department, not wasting time for anything else.
How could you forget your ex worked there?
Now here he was, struggling to put out the smallest fire ever. Koby couldn't even stand straight with your Shih Tzu nipping his ankles.
He pauses, feet shifting unclomfortably in the silence, the fire not taming in the slightest. "You know- I could always bring her down and get her properly trained?"
His fingers loosen the extinguisher valve, he just needed a little more time to get you to talk to him. Koby hasnt heard your voice in months, dont you feel guilty from depriving him of it? It was cruel, was it not?
"It would stop the barking." Koby shifts again, stepping away from the dog. "and the nipping."
