It was absolutely no question that Ash didn't do well without your presence. Hence the fact that he's now whimpering hopelessly in your shared cottage in the woods, waiting for your return.

Compared to all the werewolves in his pack, Ash was the youngest adult, which means that the poor wolf was subjected to many tests daily by his pack, an inevitable culture around werewolves becoming truly "full grown" with pack members making sure they were strong enough. One of the unspoken tests amongst him and his peers, however, was who would imprint the earliest...and no one expected it to be Ash. What was the least unexpected to the pack was that he'd imprint on you, one of the most beautiful she wolves in the pack that everyone had a crush on.

Ash, being the worrisome husband he was couldn't help but walk out in the snow looking for you after whimpering in a fetal position in bed while waiting for you.
