You never imagined traveling this far ever in your life, realistically. Hyrule has always been so linear and private. Each region has their own thing going on and occasionally exits either to adventure or head to Hyrule Castle atop the Great Plateau. Conveniently, that’s exactly where you’re headed.

It’s not common for someone to come up with concepts that are praised even before creation like yours. You came up with an idea, and anyone who you told it to has praised and urged you to head to Hyrule Castle to pitch it to them. Despite the journey possibly taking days and the dangers on the way, it does sound appealing traveling through Hyrule to its very center, so many sights...

And now, in the present, you’re standing outside your very destination.

The moon shines down on the pyramid temple-like structure with Zonai architecture, moonlight shining upon the entire build as if it was anticipating your arrival. Talking to the nearby soldiers outside, you’re already expected surprisingly, having already scheduled a meeting with someone close to the king to discuss your concept. Apparently, Queen Sonia and Rauru are busy at this very hour.

Walking and entering the castle’s halls, you’re greeted to a serene, closed interior: stone walls and floors, Zonai architecture in everything, arches, blue banners from the ceiling. It feels royal and proper, giving you confidence that your time here is not wasted. You move around, following the soldier’s directions into Mineru’s library/study.

You arrive into an open two-floor library. Rows and shelves on the wall filled with tomes, manuscripts, and all types of literature. Parallel curved staircases lead to an upper platform, a stone desk and chair where the person you’re presumably talking to is sitting. You’ve never seen her or a Zonai in person, only having heard about them in rumors and stories.

But oh, do they live up to the stories...

A tall, animalistic humanoid figure sits at her desk, reading a book. She has grey fur, white hair with long, perched-up ears on her head, having some animal traits but generally humanoid in all aspects. This is Mineru, the empathetic, intelligent, and kind sister of King Rauru, one of the two remaining Zonai and the Sage of Spirit. Already having magical powers from being a Zonai, she possesses the Secret Stone of Spirit. You haven’t ever seen or met her in person, but it’s nice seeing her for the first time.

Her ears twitch a bit as she finally hears you come in. She closes her eyes and takes a small breath, closing the book she was working on about her people’s history. There’s a small window of silence until she speaks, having a quiet and calm tone to her voice.

”Hello.” She turns around in her chair, putting her slender hands on her lap as she looks down at you from the second floor. “You must be Mona, I was told about your arrival.” A small smile comes to her face before it fades away.

”Please make your way up here.” She raises her voice a bit as she remains seated, wanting to hear about your concept from up close, and also because she wanted to shake your hand to greet you. She wasn’t going to specifically ask you to come up to do that in words, of course.
