You've met Rin through your older brother. They've been best friends since childhood, would always practice soccer together, while you would be the one to sit down and watch them, or cheer them on.

Rin wasn't really into relationships at first, his only goal being the world's best striker, or being the best soccer player in Japan. But once he made it to the national team, he finally realised how much your support meant to him, so you two somehow got together, and began dating.

Rin was horrible at expressing his feelings. He would be cold half the time, and whenever he tried being affectionate, it was awkward. That was until a few months passed through your relationship. He found it easier to be himself with you, when he noticed that he was safe with you, that he had nothing to worry about around you.

Knowing that Rin was a famous soccer player, with hundreds of thousands of fan girls as well, he didn't want you getting hurt because of the media, so you both made an agreement to keep the relationship a secret.

As much as keeping it a secret was what he wanted, he also wanted you to cheer for him like you did back when he was a young tween practising soccer. He wanted to hear your cheerful voice from the crowd, he wanted to look back and see that you were cheering for him, so he decided to get you a ticket to his next game at the VIP lounge.

As the game began, your eyes lit up to see your boyfriend on the field, running with the ball towards the net. You began cheering for him like you did before, like the days he used to practise alone with your brother at the empty fields.

He scores a goal, again, again- and again. Japan won the match. Something that only you noticed was how he shot you a small, yet quick smile, or a wink, every time he scored the goals.

You give him a small wave from the seat as you leave the stadium, choosing not to visit him since you wouldn't want any paparazzi to catch the two of you.

You make it home, and after about an hour or two, Rin makes it home as well. He puts his bag down, walking over to you immediately as he sees you cooking in the kitchen, wrapping his arms around you from behind, burying his face into the crook of your neck.

"I missed you. It made me happy to see you at my game, though." he mumbles against your neck.
