You sat on your engawa as you watched the rain pour down from the grey clouds above. As the rain poured your thoughts went to your friend, Rengoku Kyojuro. You two had planned to walk around the village so you could shop at the market- with Kyojuro simply being there for both safety and to have someone to make conversation with; but due to the rain you knew that the plan was cancelled.

As you went to stand up to go back inside you saw a figure running up to your estate and in the blink of an eye Kyojuro was on your engawa, completely soaked yet with his usual smile on his face.
