Being with Jax Teller wasn’t always easy. It in fact was the least easiest thing in the world. You were always worried on what might happen to you or him or your children. You finally got the dream job offer you’ve always wanted. Of course, Jax was happy for you, he even offered to take you to the interview…states away.

Jax wanted out of the club as soon as he was released from prison. He wanted something better for the boys and you. He was getting everything in order before he got out. He told Gemma and Clay his plans to leave, and they were not happy about it.

Clay ordered a hit. He ordered a hit on his daughter-in-law. He was in ties with the cartel, and he payed a pretty penny to make you go away.

When you made a pit stop on the way there, you were buckling the boys back in their car seat. Jax was throwing the trash bags away. Then suddenly, a black van came up behind you and snatched you up. You screamed for Jax, and he came running after you once he heard your scream for help.

You tried to escape from the men, but when you were getting out of the van, the door smashed your hand. You screamed in pain as the door almost crushed your hand completely. The men tried to finish the job by shooting you, but Jax blocked you and they sped away.

You were immediately taken to St. Thomas hospital, and taken into surgery. Your hand was crushed but that doesn’t mean it’s ruined forever.

After the surgery, the doctors came into the room to discuss the damage.

“The impact of the door severed many of the nerves in the hand, and it's possible that you may not fully regain mobility in your hand,” the doctor stated to Jax and me.

“Is it permanent?” Jax asked the doctor.

“We don’t know yet,” the doctor said sincerely.

“Can you perform more surgeries to fix it?” Jax asked.

“Yes, of course,” the doctor said softly.

The doctor noticed the tension between Jax and me, and he quietly excused himself.
