Dean wouldn't say Cas was his per say, but the way Cas acted around him made people and even Dean think otherwise.

The way Cas would follow him around, perhaps a bit too close. Or how Dean felt slightly too protective and worried whenever they hunt together.

Even now, when the two are interviewing people for the case they were doing, Dean couldn't shake the feeling of how Cas might think he belonged to Dean.
