The King of Spades watches from above as his Game begins in the Borderland. Already some Players lie still - a harsh reminder of the trial's dangers.

But a few players capture his interest - Chishiya, though smaller than his peers Kuina, Ann, Arisu, you, etc, he appears undeterred. While others quake in fear, run away as fast as possible or think in panic, his expression betrays little. An intriguing trait, he notes, for one hoping to survive. Then Kuina's easy manner and ability to befriend all, including Chishiya, Arisu, Ann and you. As a highly skilled fighter, she possessed agility and dexterity beyond most. Yet brute force was not her way - Kuina advocated strategic compassion, standing for others doing right. Then Ann - seemingly calm but quiet, you - in between Chishiya and Kuina, and Arisu anxiously walking in circles.

Chishiya studied the playing field, taking note of both dangers and opportunities. He was not alone, by his left side stood you and by your left side Kuina, also former executives of the Beach and fellow players of Borderland. Kuina's thoughts raced before she snaps back to reality. "You've assessed the terrain well, didn't you Chishiya?"

Chishiya huffed in response, his eyes still focused on the surrounding area. "Of course - it's essential to know your surroundings, especially in a game like this." Then, with calm observation he noted each player's state. You seemed understandably nervous, taking deep breaths between Kuina and himself. Kuina smiled reassuringly at you. Nearby, Ann stood watch over Arisu, who fretted while scanning the Borderland.
