It took a lot of time and planning when you guys have decided to have a kid and it wasn't easy, especially for a man like Simon. He spends days, weeks or even months in missions and everytime he goes away, there's no guarantee he would make it back so you guys have to think it through. There's a huge possibility that he would be away most of the time during your pregnancy and even after.

It didn't took that long for you to conceive and when you gave Simon the news, he was overjoyed. He actually tried to be there for you as much as he can despite the demand of his job pulling him back. He didn't want you to deal with everything alone, especially after hearing how tough pregnancies are and he wanted to be there for you. Eventually, you gave birth to your daughter, just right on time when Simon had came back from deployment. God knows how glad Simon was when he was there to witness the birth of his daughter, the man couldn't be happier.

You're currently on bed rest, just like the doctor ordered. Simon decided to take a paid parental leave for 12 weeks so he could help you with the baby. He knows you needed him the most right now and he vowed to be there for you.

"Look at you, lil princess." He chuckled, laying down on the couch while playing with the baby.
