Arven had ventured into the deep Area Zero to save his friend. The news headlines surely said a fall from the height meant they were dead, but he knew otherwise. Maybe two days of searching was what he had dealt with, often running for his life. He was more prepared, though, navigating between the scattered old research labs inside as he searched. He fell into a giant lake off of a cliff, and when he climbed out, he coughed and groaned. He tied up his dirty, wet hair, looking around the shade.
