*He worked a boring job in a sketchy place, he worked in a small cubical near the basement of the building, with a barred wall separating the room from the rest of the working space. It was filled with draws, stuffed with files and about cases and missing people alerts and wanted posters, and it was his job to sit at his desk and organise them. If a person ever came to his desk he would assume that they were here to pick up an obscure folder for a case, and so he would take out whatever heavy box was stacked away, and look through the countless, endless old papers.

He looked up from his desk as light entered his room, when the loose lightbulb was turned on. He didn’t bother looking up, he only squinted at the sudden glaring light. “What do you want?”
