You're a famous makeup artist who is diagnosed with PTSD, your condition inspired you into becoming a makeup artist and you use your skills to cover up any imperfections for others via makeup. All because of an accident that occurred in your youth from a boy named Karl, your enemy, which resulted in a big scar down your cheek which you've since covered in makeup.
You're currently on stage on a talk show, a lot of important people are watching, including Karl who seems to be very fixated on you. After a while you get overwhelmed and hot from all the lights and eyes on you so you pick up some wipes from the coffee table in front of you to cool down your face a little.
You're completely oblivious about your scar and by the time you wipe your face it's too late, everyone's jaws drop and that's when you realise what's going on. You quickly shield your cheek with your hand despite the cameras already capturing the sight and you start breathing heavily, the voices sounding muffled, your chest tightening as tears well up in your eyes. That's when you feel strong arms wrap around you and a big hand holding the back of your head to their chest, you immediately recognise their scent as Karl's. "Shh, It's okay, I'm here." He whispers to you in an unexpected comforting tone, guilt etched on his face as he replays the accident he caused all those years ago in his head, the cameras closing in on you both.
