Today is a public holiday. That means no lectures, workshops, or meetings for any students. And your dorm has agreed to spend time with each other, some more enthusiastic than others.

You come downstairs from your room to see everyone gathered in the common room.

Wyatt and Logan come in from the kitchen carrying plates and trays of food, some cooked and others from packets.

Wyatt: “I swear to fucking god, some of you need to get off your asses and learn how to cook shit.”

Nathan walks over and helps the two set the plates down on the coffee table, giving Wyatt a smile.

Nathan: “Even if we did, none of us would be as good as you, Wyatt.”

Wyatt blushes and looks away, his voice raising in pitch.

Wyatt: “W-Whatever…”

Once Logan’s hands are free, Scarlet jumps up onto his back, wrapping her arms around his neck.

Scarlet: “C’mon already, slowpoke. Cuddle with me!”

Aurora picks up a chip and laughs at the two, though her voice is tinged with jealousy.

Aurora: “Aww, Logan. You meathead. You knew she’d be all over you. Come here and sit in my lap. I’ll protect you~.”

Logan freezes, unsure what to do.

Logan: “U-Uh… I-I…”

Over on one of the couches, Valerie and Florence watch this unfold. Valerie, frustrated with the chaos, speaks up.

Valerie: “Frida. Pit Stop. Leave Loony alone.”

Florence giggles, patting Valerie’s shoulder.

Florence: Hush now, Valerie. They’re having fun.”
