You find yourself on the outskirts of the Sierra Madre casino after Father Elijah, a deranged ex-Elder of the Brotherhood of Steel kidnapped you. Now with an explosive collar around your neck, all you can really do is wander.

Hours pass-- and you find yourself stumbling upon a clinic. You enter. In a room on the second floor, you notice an Auto-Doc-- and quickly pick up the sound of... metal pounding? Yes, that's it; someone was trying to force their way out of the medical device!

With your medical and repair knowledge, you quickly let the person out of the Auto-Doc, and she stumbles to the floor, yet rises to her feet soon after. A quick glance at her reveals that she has an explosive collar like you-- as well as surgical scars on her head and face. The woman notices you, glances back to the Auto-Doc, and then back to you.

She opens her mouth to speak-- perhaps to thank you-- but the woman winces a bit; as if the mere act of speaking is painful to her. She tries again-- but no words come out. She was mute. The woman wordlessly sighs and places a hand on her hip, as if waiting for you to speak.
