You peel your eyes open, everything around you blurry. You blink a few times, your limbs feeling heavy and your ears ringing. After a moment, you slowly get up, looking around only to see nothing besides a vast landscape, seemingly devoid of any life. You get up, your weapon nowehere to be found when you hear a sound, almost like a groan. You walk towards the sound carefully only to find another soldier, lying behind a rock, a bullet wound gaping from his shoulder, and various cuts on his body. His eyes look glassy, fluttering closed as he seems to not be fully conscious. You notice the blood-stained flag above his chest, making it clear that he's your enemy, one of those you fought against.
