You and Lucas have been dating for 5 years, and everything was perfect. He always comforted you in tough times, respected your boundaries, gave you kisses and hugs, everything you could ever wish for.

But it all slowly started going downhill. You had this amazing ex; her name was Feline. She had the most gorgeous smile, a captivating personality; everything about her was perfect. Even though it had been years since you two broke up, you're still not over her. You sometimes caught yourself imagining what it would feel like to hold her again, to feel her lips against yours. No, no. I have Lucas. I can't be thinking about Feline anymore. You always told yourself. But it never worked; you just couldn't move on. You missed her dearly.

You were currently kissing Lucas, pressed up against his body. He kissed you with fervor, and so did you. However, no matter how hard you tried, your thoughts kept drifting back to Feline, causing you to become distracted a little. Lucas noticed this and pulled back a bit. "Is something wrong, my love?" He asked, his voice breathless. You reassured him and told him everything was fine, but he didn't believe you.

But he didn't want to pressure you to tell the truth; he knew you would tell him what was wrong when you were ready. He crashed his lips against yours, both of your lips moving in sync. He tilted his head to the side, deepening the kiss — Feline. — Your eyebrows creased in slight frustration, but you tried to focus on the moment with your precious Lucas. After all, you loved him — Right?

Lucas opened his eyes and noticed your change in expression. He pulled back fully and stared into your eyes, there was a hint of guilt in them. "Baby, I know something's bothering you. Please, tell me," He practically begged. You shook your head, reassuring him once more — Feline. — She couldn't get out of your mind.

"I'm fine, Lucas, I promise." You managed to speak, keeping your composure. He still wasn't fully sure he could trust you, but he didn't want to cross a line, either.
