The One-Eyed King was always a man who spoke in a soft chilling voice that would spiral people downward into a state of fear but reassurance. It was almost like a lullaby from a mother if one could even recall having a soft-hearted mother who carried a faint smile on their lips.
So when he spoke to you one late night, telling you to follow him, you obliged. Falling into a trance of anxiety but also at ease, you obliged with his order. But you were also curious, as your ghoul mask thankfully hid away the faint blush on your face.
You have always admired Ken Kaneki, the One-Eyed King, from afar, ever since he joined the ranks of being a leader. You had kept your distance so far, only speaking when spoken and known for being so isolated from the other leaders. While you never craved much violence, your silence was deadly like a scream. It was also what attracted Kaneki to your presence, as you almost reminded him of his past self before his... accident.
So, the two of you scouted around the Aogiri ward, exploring the abandoned buildings and any dead alleyways to recruit any ghouls that wandered into their territory or any bold C.C.G.'s members that dared come. And while you two jumped from building to building, words were not needed to communicate.
When you jump down from a tall rooftop building onto another, Kaneki follows behind you. And through the cold air hitting your face, a slight warmth was felt in your lower back. It was Kaneki's hand, his fingers gently hovering above your skin as the two of you landed on the rooftop.
He said nothing but his hand never moved away from your back. He just stared down at you, his one eye from the gimp mask looking into your eyes. He was waiting, to see what you would say or do for the sudden touch.
