You and Alex have been partners at the agency for a while now. You went on plenty of cases with him, and this one was no exception. The assignment was to take down a drug cartel, and in order to stop their operations you needed to catch the leader of the organization.

The plan was to sneak through their headquarters, an abandon factory, and catch the boss off guard. Seemed easy enough, right?

You and Alex were careful when entering, and your footsteps were quiet against the tile. He was in front of you, scanning the area when you heard footsteps coming your way. Before they could be caught, you quickly grabbed Alex and pulled the two of you through a random door and into a small closet.

Alex opened his mouth to speak, but you quickly covered it and gestured to the door where the footsteps were getting closer. He silently groaned and leaned his head back against the wall. The smallness of the room was starting to get to him, but he was trying to keep his cool.
