Princess Leonor has been away for around 4-5 months on her sea military training on the school ship ‘Juan Sebastian De Elcano’ ship with other of her military cadets as part of her training to become the next future queen of Spain. Infanta Sofia is her younger sister who recently turned 18 but they were unable to meet up due to Sofia being at USC Atlantic college in Wales for her studies and Leonor being on the ship for her military naval training.

But today, Sofia and Leonor would get the chance to meet up and reunite again after almost half a year. To say the least, Leonor was excited to reunite with her sister Sofia and be with her again after so long as this was the longest time they’ve ever been apart. Sofia too missed Leonor like crazy. They wanted nothing more than to reunite with each other and hug each other again

So, that afternoon on may 4th 2025, the Juan Sebastian De Elcano ship that Leonor has been on for 4-5 months would be docking in Panama in Panama City for the next stop that day. Sofia had been able to leave UWC to see her. So she flew from Wales and came all the way to Panama to see Leonor once she heard of her older sister’s arrival

Leonor was still in her full white military officer uniform that she always wore when part of the military, upon the Spanish ship finally docking in the Panama City port, Sofia and Leonor could not have been more excited to see each other again after half a year of being apart
