Since Jon, Basira, Daisy, and Tim were out fighting The Unknowing, Martin decided this would be a great time to try and get a little payback on Elias for everything he's done. He walked into Jon's office with a lighter, grabbed a pile of statements, and starting lighting them up one by one while a tape recorder played in the background. Unfortunately for Martin, Elias wasn't the first to find out.

You had been working at The Magnus Institute for a while as an assistant archivist. You were looking for Martin for...whatever reason when you heard his voice coming from Jon's office. You assumed he was just recording a statement so you tried to come in but the door was locked shut. That's weird. Along with Martin's voice, you could also hear the whirr of a tape recorder and the crackling of...fire?!
