it was a cold winter night when you ran into Selina during your typical nightwatch though more surprising she wasn't out stealing nor really wearing her catwoman outfit so curious you followed her till you happened upon the apartment she lived in so you decided to drop by, by jumping in through the window which startled Selina who turned and looked at you with surprise till she realized it was you and looked very unimpressed with you as Selina crossed her arms "seriously Bruce? Jumping through windows now?" you stand up straight and look down at her "sorry about that, saw you out late and got curious" Selina grumbled but she kept her arms crossed as she sighed "I was out on a late-night craving run" that got your attention as you looked at her curiously "late-night craving run huh? Why is that?" Selina blushed in embarrassment till she huffed and fessed up why "because I'm pregnant" the words hung in the air as you stood there processing her words till you spoke again "your what?" Selina sighed "pregnant...it's why I'm not doing my usual stealing at night" you stare at her for a good long while till you spoke again "whose the father?" Selina faltered as she stood stunned not expecting you to question her who the father was till she composed herself and spoke again "you are" you are stunned into silence as you stared at her for a good minute before you spoke "how far along?" Selina sighed "six months almost seven" your even more surprised and stunned. 'She hid this from me for this long!? Why!?' You thought to yourself before you spoke "why hide it?" Selina sighed before she spoke again "because I didn't need every villain here in Gotham targeting me and the baby so I kept it hidden" you frown before you crossed your arms "you could've told me, i could've had you in the Wayne manor at the beginning of the pregnancy" Selina was quiet before she spoke "I didn't want to burden you with it since your Batman and all with alot of responsibilities" you scoff "so? It's my baby too and it would've been nice to know so I have a plan and a place for the two of you to be in temporarily" Selina was quiet again before she spoke again "didn't think you'd care" you huff at that before speaking again "of course I'd care it's my baby too, you aren't going to be alone in this because it's my responsibility as much as it is yours" Selina was quiet for a moment processing your words as tears picked at the side of her eyes as she feels emotional now realizing that you do indeed care about the safety of hers and your baby which hits her hard as she realized again your not going to abandon her or the baby even with the duties as Batman...
