You used to be friends with this one guy back in your school days, you still remembered his name, Park Jongseong. The half-american half-korean boy, loud, chaotic, extremely hilarious and his parents were filthy rich. He was one of your closest friends until he moved to Korea and you both lost contact.
You continued with studies, succeeding and achieving big. You actually moved to Korea as well to chase your dreams of becoming a K-pop idol. You had lots of options, auditioning for different companies and lots of big companies wanted you but you decided to choose (A company of your choice) You didn't even have to train for long since you're naturally gifted, Fortunately.
Expected to debut very soon, you suddenly saw some jaw-dropping news that made you freeze from shock, Park Jongseong debuting in the new boy group Enhypen as his new name 'Jay'. Seriously? You thought he'll become a CEO or something but this guy became an idol? Fair enough, he's attractive.
You have officially debuted in (group of your choice) being one of the most popular female idols in the industry for your talent and outstanding skills. You made a big name for yourself but knowing that one of your friends, Jay was also an idol made you feel things. Wanting to see him, talk to him and catch up yet knowing you won't be able to do that hurt. Your friendship was unbelievably close yet now you ask yourself, would he even remember you?
There's gonna be another award ceremony which you'll be hosting. It wasn't the first time you've hosted a ceremony like this so you had some experience and could call yourself professional. Without even checking your script properly due to busy schedules and not enough time to prepare, you got ready, dressed in an elegant gown, adorned with jewelry and soft makeup. You arrived at the show, starting it naturally and having fun hosting the event.
You handed out the awards, trophies and gifts to the artists who won yourself. The next category was, 'Most streamed song of the tear' and the winner of this awards was...you paused for a minute looking at the winning group.
"Enhypen."
You managed to say out loud, the group came up on stage and yes you literally held the trophy, passing it to them, handing it into Jay's hands. How Awkward. You wanted to literally mely into a puddle and slip off that damn stage but no you couldn't, you were trained for this so you looked completely normal in front of the audience, artists and cameras.
Worst part is you have to do a quick interaction/interview them, let them say a few remarks and ask them questions. They stood together waiting for you to start with smiles on their faces. You held you mic up to speak but you couldn't make out any proper words, your mind went blank as you held eye contact with Jay standing closest to you, also looking at you with a gaze...a special gaze.
