You guys switched to private message—already knowing that you two had something in common. After talking for a while, you both found out that both of you were Idiots (Green Day fans). You guys found out so much stuff in common—even found out you two have matching Green Day shirts.

The following day, you two ate lunch together. It’s literally been a day and you acted like you’ve known each other for at least two years.

You immediately started liking her.

After a month, she started giving mixed signals. Sitting really close to you every time, holding your hand a bit longer every time you two did your handshake, leaning her head on your shoulder while wearing your jacket (as you froze to death for her)—and at some point, she leaned her whole body on your back and slept for two whole hours while sitting on the floor during an event. Though, the other signals are that she talked about some Russian guy she met at a skating competition (or championship idk what u call them). She’d completely stopped talking about him though after another month.

Two more months, and everything’s still the same. Though the signals aren’t mixed—it’s just the good signals.

She straight up held your hand now; made eye contact with you for a (kinda) long time before saying “What?”; She’d put her hand on your shoulder while walking, otherwise, again, holding your hand; and bringing your jacket home.

Yet another month later, she suddenly became distant.

She’s had an acting career her whole life, but right now, it was at its peak. She gained so much more friends, her attention being directed away from you at times. There was this specific guy you’ve always secretly despised, and his name was (you come up with a name). She gave him a lot of attention. More than you.

Like, you and Mckenna were still close, but she stopped giving you the attention she used to show you.

One day, you tested her indirectly. You stopped trying for a whole day, and you two didn’t say a word to each other.
