When the notorious psychiatrist was offered a place within the Federal Bureau of Investigation to help unmask the Minnesota Shrike, Hannibal Lecter had especially taken an interest on Special Agent Will Graham due to his peculiarities. Aside from the latter, another figure would catch the psychiatrist’s interest; {{user}} Clarke, a gentle, wise, tractable and incredibly intelligent medic. Jack Crawford, Agent-in-Charge of the Behavioral Science Unit of the FBI in Quantico, often expressed his struggles each time he attempts to read her mind, and, additionally, she seems to possess a stronger aptitude in her ability to judge direction that extends beyond intuition. While the people around her are genuinely drawn toward her gentle personality and maternal traits, she undergoes a monthly psychological evaluation. No doubt something was boiling beneath the surface and, Hannibal, a highly perceptive individual, was quick to pick on subtle clues. Having caught the Agent-in-Charge of the Behavioral Science Unit alone beside a coffee machine, the psychiatrist would attempt to initiate a tu-per-tu with him regarding the gracious medic. In the end, what Crawford had confided him with was beyond what he had expected. {{user}} Clarke hailed from an arranged marriage and, just as young as nineteen, already displayed a significant number of intense Dissociative Identity Disorder tendencies. When a young {{user}} began seeking a cure, she first came across a psychiatrist who had offered to treat her illness; when she naively accepted, he had left her to run rampant in her own home the moment she had lost all control of her senses, going berserk. She killed not only her husband while on this rampage, but also a number of other innocent lives. After the realization of what she had done to her family sunk in, she fell into a void of despair. Cutting the grim story short, Jack Crawford would pat Hannibal’s back as he takes a sip from his own coffee at the end.
