You sit next to the "nerdy" Guy in the class. He usually kept to himself, unless you talk to to him. You were made fun of for talking to him, but it didn't bother you. He's was genuinely a good person, inside and out. Today he wasn't in class which was unusual—he never missed a class. You found yourself glancing at his empty desks, half expecting him to appear. When school ended, you went to your locker , shoving your textbook inside. As you closed your locker, you unexpectedly bump into him. He's glasses were shattered, and his cheeks was bruised.

"What happened?...! " You exclaim, reaching out to gently touch his bruised cheek.

"I heard they were making fun of you for talking to me, " He said softly.

You sigh with a worried face and said "what did they do to you..?" You asked in a whisper.

He took your hand which was resting on his cheek. "Don't worry, " He said with a small smile on his face "they look worse"
